Data Protection Statement

CopyTraderVault is the data controller for personal data you provide when using this site and the member portal. We process data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password hash, marketing preferences
  • Billing data: handled by Stripe — we store the customer/subscription ID, never card numbers
  • Usage data: page views, lesson progress, support tickets, login events
  • Referral data: which referral link was used, and the resulting account

What we do not collect

We never see your brokerage credentials, your balances or your trades. Those stay with your broker.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, withdraw consent for marketing or delete your account at any time. Email hello@copytradervault.com.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 6 years after closure for tax and legal record-keeping. Support tickets are kept for 3 years.

International transfers

Our infrastructure providers (hosting, email, analytics, payments) may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards (UK IDTA / EU SCCs).
